The schedule has been tailored to allow plenty of leeway for sightseeing and resting at some of the most beautiful stops along the ICW while keeping long transits to a minimum. We'll pass through the primeval Dismal Swamp Canal to historic Oriental in North Carolina, and then head to New Bern to join in the Southbound Cruisers' Rendezvous and its Halloween party.
From there we'll make a succession of stops at cozy marinas and pretty anchorages, enjoying parties and potluck dinners along the way. There will be plenty of time to take in the delights of Charleston and Beaufort in South Carolina, and Savannah, Jekyll Island and St. Mary's in Georgia. At St.Mary's we'll take part in its famed Cruisers' Thanksgiving celebration before heading to Cumberland Island National Seashore to see the wild ponies.
When we arrive in St. Augustine, we'll join the reowned Nights of Lights and then wind up the rally with a farewell party and a day-long semianr on your cruising options in Florida, the Bahamas, and beyond. You'll come away from the Snowbird Rally with new skills, new friends, and the memory of a grand adventure shared.
